Accenture Mobility Operated Services (AMOS) provides a mobile service platform via a transaction based business model, and a set of integrated mobility services for cross industry business and consumer markets.
AMOS enables enterprises, across all industries, the opportunity to expand its product portfolio via the mobility channel with a “service store” for enabling and application services. The managed service helps companies define, develop and run the right mobility strategy and solutions, resulting in new revenue streams, lower operating costs and reduced risk and complexity. Accenture launched the business in Italy in FY 2009, with plans to expand in Europe, and the Americas region during FY 2010.
AMOS will initially target the communications, financial services, resources, retail, automotive, healthcare and public-service sectors, although AMOS can be used by any enterprise in any industry.

The US team for AMOS is looking for a Tech Arch to assist the team in expanding the business in the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capacity Planning
• Technical Architecture
o Virtualization
o Application flows
o Standard communication protocols
o Mobile oriented protocols knowledge (MAM, SMPP, SS7, MM7, ..)
• Network Architecture
o Detail Design
o RFP/RFQ support
o Performance and Non Functional Test
Work Requirements:
• Travel will be required as needed
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years experience in the following areas:
• Linux/Unix
• VMWare
• Technical Architecture Design
• Standard Communication protocols
• Mobile Protocols
• Network Architecture (Cisco)
• SOA/SOAP
• JBoss
• MySQL
• Script Shell (bash, DOS)
• Other tools and processes
o clear case
o clear quest
o Performance analysis
o Java Tuning
o MySQL Tuning
o Operating System Tuning
o log analysis
Preferred Skill Requirements:
• Deep experience with PowerPoint presentation
• Deep experience with MS Excel modeling
• Keen interest in wireless technologies, growth and innovation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English (additional languages would be an asset)
