My client is seeking a Technical Architect for a project in Chicago, IL. Please review the requirements listed below.
Define application and technical requirements.
Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments.
Determine the number of environment instances needed for the delivery of the solution (Development, Conversion, Test, Training, Staging, Production, Production Support, etc.). Lead the establishment of these environments.
Make all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security.
Lead the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation.
Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs.
Perform LAN (e.g., end-user sites and data center) as well as WAN (connection from data center to remote end-users) load analysis and sizing/capacity planning as required to support the solution.
Perform hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution.
Support the transition to the Application Outsourcing and Infrastructure Outsourcing organization
Ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews and reviewing application and technical architecture deliverables.
Ability to provide technical leadership including serving as a resource to the project team by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues
Ability to develop application architecture as new requirements arise
Ability to define the complete technical infrastructure environment
Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit the client
Ability to create architecture scope, definition, construction, and execution
