Requirements
Qualification Masters in Social Sciences like Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Development, Statistics, Development studies
Experience At least 3x years of experience in emergency projects with NGOs Experience in project management will be preferred.
Skills Well organized and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to assess priorities and competently manage a variety of activities with a high level of accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills, project reporting & Documentation, Community Liaison, analysis and judgment capacity and Ability to frequent travel in field.
Computer Skills Strong Functional grip on MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
Personal Abilities Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands.
The Team Leader WASH is responsible to facilitate the District Coordinator in proper execution of project activities carrying out in District Sanghar (Sindh) with the coordination of project team.
1. To maintain constructive, purposeful, trust based and sincere relations with all colleagues working above or under whether directly or indirectly associated.
2. To participate in all meetings, committees, forums, projects and assignments as required and expected.
3. To provide feedback to colleagues subordinates and higher ups this can potentially improve their effectiveness and contribution.
4. To coordinate with program team in achieving their targets and effectively and efficiently implementation of projects in project area.
5. Assist the District Coordinator in development and implementation plan of the project going on in Sanghar.
6. Responsible for ensuring the overall implementation of the project activities in accordance with the work plan with coordination of line supervisor.
7. Ensure to ensure timely completion of project activities within the project funds and in specified time frame.
8. Closely supervise & document the work of other team members, identify gaps & give positive feedback to line supervisor on required actions.
9. Document issues being faced by the target communities and compile case studies on monthly basis and submit to management through reflection in scheduled progress reports.
10. Analyze project-related developments from time-to-time and provide timely inputs to project manager for informed decision-making.
11. Facilitate the project team in management of the activities of WASH in coordination with District Coordinator by maintaining the flow of services.
12. Preparation of leave plan of all staff ensuring that activities may not suffer in any case through alternative arrangements in coordination with District Coordinator.
13. Ensure the logistics arrangements of all project activities in coordination with accounts and admin personnel.
14. Assist the Monitoring Officer and District Coordinator in monitoring the project activities regularly.
15. Optimize the use of human, logistical, and financial resources
16. Ensure to develop proper financial management of the project finances
17. Ensure proper projection of the project activities through print & media
18. Ensure timely completion of activities
19. Identify core needs required by the project for effective delivery of the agreed deliverables in coordination with the other units.
20. Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and submit within due dates to project manager.
21. Document and compile case studies and submit to Country Management.
22. Be responsible for quality delivery of all intermediate and final outputs of project(s)
23. Carryout any other task assigned by the management within the scope of works of the Project.
