Description: Purpose:
Store persons is responsible for receipt, handle and dispatch goods coming into, or going out of warehouses by ensuring administrative control ( records accuracy ) & physical control of movements.
Key Result Areas:
• Receive goods and check them against order forms or respective documents.
• Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves of store area and checking them off appropriate lists.
• Catalogue or label items with storage details & locations
• Package and send out completed orders to customers ,trailers.
• Obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock, using computers .
• Enter details of received delivery or pick up slips, requisitions and prepare invoices/delivery notes into computers.
• Count and record the number of items in store during stocktaking
• Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
Qualification:
• Education : Diploma /High School at least with computer literacy.
• Experience : Minimum experience of 3 years in store keeping/accounting in manufacturing industry
• Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Strong arithmetic skills & record keeping
• Language Level: English literate
• Computer Level: good
