SQL Server Developer and back-up DBA, SSIS/DTS – OK from Denver/Boulder
Our client, a growing software vendor northwest of Denver, is seeking a talented SQL Developer with SQL Server DBA experience at the HQ location.
The SQL Server Developer develops and edits stored procedures, functions and extended stored procedures in TSQL to for the core business logic in a SQL Server (2005/2008) environment. Performs DBA duties occasionally as back-up to DBA staff.
Qualified candidates will have:
• 4+ years experience with SQL, TSQL software programming experience for a SQL Server software environment.
• In depth knowledge of SQL Server development methodologies and processes
• 2+ years writing TSQL stored procedures and extended stored procedures.
. 1+ years experience with SSIS and/or DTS
. 1+ years experience performing some SQL Server DBA tasks
Helpful:
. Experience with .Net, C# preferred
. Experience with SQL Server clusters and/or mirrors
. Experience with Visual Studio, IIS, TFS
. Experience with Try/Catch is helpful
• Experience with payroll or benefit systems a plus.
• Experience with version control and change mgt.
