Community IT Innovators is seeking an experienced web developer who can act as technical lead on web projects including both public websites and online database applications. The successful candidate will enjoy helping nonprofit organizations pursue their missions by creating lightweight, pragmatic web solutions. The ability to talk with non-technical people about requirements and solutions is essential.
Required Qualifications:
Professional experience in two or more of the following
technologies:
Php
Python
Django
Drupal
MySQL
Javascript / JQuery
HTML/CSS
Salesforce
ColdFusion
Ability to think big-picture, choosing between potential solutions
for a given problem, and architecting successful, budget-appropriate
solutions
Professional presence, mature and confident
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter, good time management skills and ability to work on a
team and independently
Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience combined
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with nonprofit organizations
Experience with membership sites
Experience working with APIs
Experience developing in an Agile/Scrum-type iterative development
method
Compensation:
Based on experience, includes the following benefits: Health, dental,
