Memphis Company seeking a Sr. Test Architect with SDLC experience as well as SOA (Solutions Orientated Architecture)
Skills/Experience Required:
Extensive experience in the areas of testing strategy and testing architecture for an independent testing organization (either on contract or as an FTE), preferably in a Fortune 100 company
Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills – must be able to consult and impress at the Director and VP level of a Fortune 100 company
Ability to quickly understand the current state and propose solutions to address business needs at a program level
Experience in process consulting within the Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) – not just in testing but how can testing effectively fit into the overall SDLC.
Experience in technical consulting with ability to come up with technical solutions for testing problems using best of breed automation tools.
Exposure to industry best practices, tools, strategies and metrics related to testing
Ability to conceptualize and drive the implementation of a solution and measure ROI for improvements made
Exposure to HP suite of tools for functional testing – Quality Center (QC), Quick Test Pro (QTP), Business Process Testing (BPT)
Exposure to tools such as Critical Logic’s functional modeling tool (see attachment), iTKO’s LISA tool for service testing, virtualization solutions for testing, reporting dashboards/tools/solutions.
Skills/Experience Desired:
Exposure to specialized testing areas – Performance Testing using LoadRunner, testing of mobile/hand-held devices, Unit/white-box testing, testing for regional language translations, security testing, network testing, testing of data center moves
Hands-on experience in as many of the tools mentioned above.
Experience in managing all testing activities including test planning, design, automation and execution
Education: MBA / Masters degree in Business a PLUS
