Senior Finance Associate Careers in Boston, MA, USA
3-5 years of accounting or tax experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION
Responsible for a number of the co-invest partnerships and working with and supervising staff on the following:
• Quarterly and year end accounting and reporting
• Preparation and review of annual tax basis books
• New investment and liquidation activity
• Cash and stock distributions
• Cash management
• Responding to investor requests
• Work with all levels from associates to Managing Directors on projects to enhance the product of the team,
department and firm
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced MS Office, particularly Excel
• 3-5 years accounting or tax experience in the financial service industry with a solid understanding of investments
(experience with partnerships is desired)
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with
high attention to detail
• Creative problem solving ability and sound judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for
decisions
• Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels
• Understands and enjoys the demands of a service environment
• Capability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
DESIRED EDUCATION
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Tax
