About the Company:
They provide mobile source management solutions for transportation companies world-wide.
About the role:
• Develop & improve existing applications
• Modify & control existing applications to meet customer needs/ requirements
• Increase & build Windows and web services for integration purposes
• Increase and build custom reports using Crystal Reports
• Write development documentation & use cases
• System analysis, database design & database implementation
• Application/database performance tuning
Candidate Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005, Crystal Reports 8.5, Java-Script, HTML, Visual Source Safe
• Extensive experience in application development, website architecture, database architecture, & user interface design
• Extensive experience building & improving Windows and web services
• Extensive experience in designing, planning, developing and maintaining applications using Visual Basic 6.0, VB.NET & ASP.NET
• Great understanding of COM/DCOM, ADO & ActiveX controls
• Extensive experience with SQL Server
• Extensive experience with the entire software development lifecycle
• Must be able to handle and support large projects independently
• Some knowledge or understanding of systems & network administration
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
