The client:

My client is a leading Oil & Gas company with a number of high profile projects currently being undertaken. They have a global presence and are looking to expand their operation both in China and overseas. As a result they urgently require a senior manager to add to their team to join their expanding Oil & Gas division.

The role – Head of Business Development.

This new, exciting role will be a fantastic challenge for a strong individual with key influencing skills. The candidate role is crucial to the client’s growth in the LNG business. The ideal candidate will be an excellent negotiator with years of experience in dealing with successful bidding and sourcing of new business. You will have on the ground knowledge of key decision makers in the Oil & Gas Industry throughout the Middle -East

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Reporting to the company President
Ensure a structured analytical approach to all works
Present proposals to the board
Identify potential sources of potential LNG supplies
Successful negotiation of contacts
Ensure client satisfaction
Lead market research & analysis of LNG Industry
Formulate business strategies and lead negotiations at high levels
Foster & strengthen working & social relationships & networks
Undertake the necessary due diligence

The person:

Ability to supervise at a senior level
A strong leader, with fantastic organisational skills
A proven track record with more than 10-15 years “hands on” within the Oil & Gas Business Development
You must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent Energy, preferably a Masters Degree
Must have the ability to liaise with the client and deliver projects on time and within budgets.
A resourceful and self motivated team player.
Must be willing and able to travel.
