Job Description
Our client, a market leading, and highly recognisable software company is currently recruiting for a Revenue Recognition Accountantant to join their team based in their Reading office. The key responsibilities for the role of Revenue Recognition Accountant includes:
- Review key license transactions to conclude on the appropriate revenue accounting treatment and document conclusions for presentation to the external auditors as part of the regular quarterly review.
- To be involved in preliminary and final contract review, advising the Sales, Sales Ops and Legal teams on the revenue recognition implications of proposed transactions.
- To ensure all accounting adjustments are completed in a structured manner during the month-end process and that these entries reflect the correct revenue recognition treatment in accordance with US GAAP.
- To assist in tracking multiple element arrangements, liaising with the Sales and Professional Services groups to understand deal structures.
- To provide continuous support to the Order Services Group on all revenue recognition issues
