Job Title: Data Architect

Job Description:.
• Develop the application architecture and blueprints which reflect corresponding business logic.
• Provide guidance to projects on available Enterprise Services and other existing technology solutions as opposed
to building out new infrastructure for each effort.
• Develop/produce necessary architecture and associated documents for assigned projects and present the
architectures in the appropriate Architectural Overview sessions.
• Assess projects for level of architectural needs and review/approve design documents to ensure that they align
with Enterprise and Bank standards.
• Conduct reviews and analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of
applications.
• Participate in mapping the applications architecture to the chosen technology platform.
• Define application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools.
• Provide technical guidance to application development teams. Consult on integration and conversion activities.
Recommend redesign or redevelopment. Select technologies to provide long-term compatibility and flexibility.
• Conduct reviews and analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of
applications.
• Coordinate with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams to extend capabilities of these platforms to
support additional business and project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise
Demonstrated experience with multiple platforms
Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups
and senior levels.
BASEL-II Experience is a huge plus

Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Duration: 12 Months+
Location: Richmond, VA
Job Description:
Responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each
other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution.
Data Modeler: Develops the Enterprise Logical Data Model (LDM). Facilitates JAD sessions to determine data rules,
and holds LDM Reviews with Data SMEs. Applies client Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and
documents data model translation decisions. This position includes use of data profiling tools and techniques, and
development of review and QA data requirements.
3-5 years prior data analyst experience preferred
Master (experienced) in use of Erwin
Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise
Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups
and senior levels
Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers.
