Release Mgr – ERP Global Applications – Westchester County, NY – Relo OK

Responsible for managing release management process team for Supply Chain and Finance systems:
* Design and implement global strategy for coordinating release of newly
developed or modified code into a production environment across multiple
regions
* Maintain object integrity and harmonization across like systems globally
* Define scope and timeline for delivering process and systems changes that are
absorbable by the business
* Manage resources and budget to effectively deliver scope to agreed timeline
* Ensure timely delivery of release to regions for implementations and rollouts to
defined quality standards
* Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive strategy that will
standardize the release of newly developed code across ERP applications at a
high level of quality in a traceable and predictable manner, meeting or
exceeding business requirements and timelines.
* Partner with business to identify, prioritize and sequence change requests into
manageable releases that are absorbable by the business
* Ensure adherence to release management policy agreed to by sponsors and
escalate issues as appropriate
* Manage delivery of release within acceptable levels of quality and
completeness based on agreed to policy
Requirements:
* 7+ years of extensive ERP and middleware implementation experience
(primarily EnterpriseOne, Manugistics, and webMethods).
* Minimum of 5 years of management/ leadership experience in a software
development organization.
* At least 2 years experience working through a SDLC methodology delivering
software to end-users.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience managing and optimizing outsourced/off-shore relationship
partners.
* Strong understanding of the software development cycle.
* Experience solving complex and large-scare software problems.
