Our client is one of the world’s top ten manufacturers of High Voltage Power three-phase transformers. The company is part of a large conglomerate with an impressive global footprint and employs 8000 people worldwide. The client has very ambitious goals and is growing rapidly on an international level. It is during this crucial stage of growth that our client is looking for exceptional talents, to help them become one of the top three players. One of the company’s divisions is a specialist in turnkey high voltage projects up to 500 kV. These projects are carried out for large industrial customers, for major electricity utilities as well as for independent power producers and renewable energy business. The scope of offering includes engineering , project management, supply and installation of control and automation systems, as well as civils, transmission lines, transformers, breakers, etc.. in turn key solutions that meet the expectations and specifications of the clients.

Functions:
- As the new Regional Sales Manager you will identify and pursue business development opportunities for existing and new high voltage projects in the electrical distribution and transmission sector of the EMEA market.
- MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities for existing and new products in the electrical distribution and transmission market of mainland Europe.
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities through the EMEA sales function and Systems Division.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to further expand the product offering of the company.
- Managing the completion and submission of formal tender opportunities and commercial offerings within agreed market sectors and areas.
- Supporting the overall global business expansion activities of the Company where applicable.

Requirements:
- You will be qualified to degree level in an electrical/electronic engineering or allied discipline, with additional qualifications commensurate with a professional migration into commercial/sales activities.
- You must have been involved in the sales of complex turn key projects in the electrical distribution and transmission sector.
- Ideally you may have worked within one of the large multinational OEM suppliers.
- You must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and to market technical products and services into the utility, industrial or transport sectors.
- You must have commercial experience in terms of the formulation of market opportunities and the production and submission of complex techno-commercial proposals in response to formal tender processes or in directly negotiated commercial offerings.
- You must have passion for technology, inspiring personality, ability to innovate and interest to work in a team and on an individual mandate in which strategic input to the senior management is appreciated.
- Fluency in English is a must, Fluency in French or any other foreign language is a plus.
