Regional Manager Careers in Multan Pakistan


JOB TITLE        :    Regional Manager

LOCATION        :    Multan – South Punjab

Reports to      :    Operations Director / Director Programs

To supervise all activities for effective implementation of PODA programme at the regional level according to program goals and objectives. Ensure that program work is of high quality and matches the deliverables and commitments made to project beneficiaries and donor resulting in harmonious s in harmony among all offices in addition to raising organization’s profile in program thematic area.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Supervise and provide technical support the work of all project staff based in the region; develop a detailed workplan for the project and establish am effective monitoring mechanism foe timely implementation of field activities as well as financial commitments and projects.

    Build useful linkages with partner NGOs and networks in the region to ensure PODA’s participation in various thematic and sectoral activities.

    Have in depth knowledge and understanding of your program areas and subjects, donor proposals related and reporting requirements of your thematic area.

    Develop project proposal for sustainability of the program at regional level and develop progress, periodic and other donor reports as required for submission, review and approval of Director Programs review and approval.

    Establish effective monitoring mechanism at the regional level.

    Ensure that all other field managers of PODA in other locations are fully up to date and informed about regional activities.

    Prepare drafts of press releases for regional activities and events and finalize press releases with Programs .

    Attend public meetings on behalf of PODA and represent the program team in the region.

    Play active role in resource mobilization and development activities of PODA through reporting, liaison with and facilitating donor visits and other activities as required.

    Participate in monthly program and quarterly review meetings as required by PODA management team in Islamabad office.

    Maintain up to date knowledge of core human rights and other topical issues and maintain coordination with other development partners in the region, besides participation at important conferences and seminars.

    Ensure provision of a brief regional update report every two week along with pictures for PODA website.

    Perform any other duties as required by the PODA Executive Director.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1.    At least 10 years experience in the NGO sector working on community level projects, training and/or advocacy and 5 years or more experience related to programme management and resource mobilization issues.
2.    Experience of leading a diverse team in the field
3.    Hands on knowledge of preparing budgets, financial projects and reporting

SKILLS REQUIRED:
1.    Ability to work independently and take initiatives.
2.    Excellent report writing skills
3.    Excellent observation, research & analytical skills.
4.    Excellent written and spoken Urdu & English language skills.
5.    Strategic thinking and trouble shooting skills.
6.    Interpersonal skills & time management skills. .
7.    Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge of Inpage desirable.
8.    Ability to understand the needs of the community and stakeholders.
9.    Ability to work under short deadlines and work under pressure
