We are currently directing a search for a Regional Sales Manager for an exceptional manufacturer of medical capital equipment with strong hospital product(s) offering. This strategic firm has experienced sustained and well-managed growth and is a world industry leader. This position is open due to promotion and will lead the Northeast states sales force with the goal to continue to grow existing and new hospital accounts while continue high retention of current regional (hospital) accounts.
Will be responsible for all sales forecasting, sales reporting and employee evaluations and manage and led 10 Territory Sales Reps in: New England, PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY and W VA. Create, monitor and continuously improve metrics on sales, closing ratios. Develop and execute training programs for sales staff members. We are seeking someone with a “can do” attitude to manage and lead a successful and experienced hospital sales team by example. Must be able to convey the enthusiasm of the “WOW factor” of the company’s vision and the product impact for the clients. Strong and proven administrative and record keeping skill set and experience required. Must be a strategic and critical thinker and planner. We are seeking a “natural leader” as you will also be on the leadership board involved in future strategic planning for the company as well as your division.
Qualifications include BS (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 7+ years proven Regional or Director level sales managerial successful track record of leading a sales team of direct corporate sales reps versus. dealer reps. Demonstrated successful regional building experience versus management by maintaining. Must lead by example of having high energy and proven results of doing whatever it takes. The client prefers sales management experience in hospital capital equipment or B2B such as office furniture or copiers. NO Pharmaceutical experience will be considered.
