R&D Chemist required to join a successful Research & Development team at a manufacturing company near Brampton, ON.
Our client is looking for a R&D Chemist who will help the team meet technical objectives ranging from new product development to value engineering by carrying out and reporting on experimental paint projects.
In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support, process improvement and technical literature as you use a range of test methods and procedures to prepare and test paints and record results accurately, delivering preliminary data analysis.
For this role you will need experience in two component liquid coatings for industrial or aerospace applications (epoxy primers, urethane topcoats etc). You will also need some development experience of liquid coatings, but not to a technician level. You should also have a degree, ideally Chemistry, and strong practical laboratory experience.
The salary on offer for this role is CAD$50-80K basic + package.
