WJ Partners would like to bring to your attention our latest SENIOR Quality opportunity ‘Quality Control Manager’ within a Leading Global Automotive Supplier;
The Quality Control Manager will be the main site contact for operational quality performance. Primary responsibility will be to manage and provide leadership to the quality control function and associated functions in support of business requirements. Implementation of new ways of working and managing quality management systems alongside driving continuous improvement will be essential in ensuring the team focus on goals that contribute the greatest value to the business.
The Post holder should;
- be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate direct reports
- Have strong influential skills to persuade change improvements at all levels of the business.
- Have strong communication skills are essential.
- Hold a degree level of education or equivalent in engineering stream.
- A degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Strong understanding of core tools e.g. APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC etc.
- Good working knowledge required on office automation tools such as MS office, Projects
- Proven leadership and team management skills including the management and supervision of a team of technical staff
- The drive and enthusiasm to engage shop floor quality improvement
- Understanding of TS16949:2009 standard including accreditation activities
- Skilled in defining and implementing quality control processes in the shop floor
- Excellent skills on data analysis, reporting and presentation
- Excellent problem solving skills to identify root causes and lead improvement actions.
