The Opportunity
DiJiPOP is seeking an entry level quality assurance (QA) engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that our ad management platform and client application software meet high quality standards. You will be a key contributor in our continuous improvement of processes and procedures. You will work with closely with the development team to test software releases and maintain software development quality standards. Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Create and maintain test plans to validate all functional and non-functional requirements for our Adobe Flex client applications in addition to our Java and C++ based platform services.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Validate application and ad server operation across multiple browser and operating system client environments.
• Document test results.
• Proactively identifies and documents defects in issue tracking system.
• Work with development team to fix bugs and ensure development process quality.
• Develop and execute non-functional tests to validate performance, load, stress, and availability requirements are met.
• Assist in performance tuning of core web, application and database subsystems.
• Research and recommend test tools and frameworks.
• Other duties as necessary.
Required Skills
• Familiarity with automated software testing tools and approaches for web applications.
• Web experience including basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Linux scripting such as bash or Perl.
• Ability to write basic SQL statements would be a plus.
• Passion for quality and attention to detail.
