Quality Assurance Analyst Employment at New York City, USA
Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This includes
writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application
development, information systems, and operations systems.
* Develops test plans for all product lines and engages in client onboarding testing as well
as product enhancement testing.
* Provide and apply subject matter expertise for verification of web applications
* Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the Software Quality Assurance process
along with the ability to:
- Develop Test Cases (Functional and Regression)
- Execute Test Scripts
- Document defects and create Project Defect Matrices
- Track Defects to Resolution/Work-around
* Assists in the performance of reliability, regression, usability, stress, performance, security
and other types of testing as appropriate.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years previous job-related experience with basic technical or professional
experience specific to the financial sector
* Experience supporting QA projects through full software development life cycles
* Experience testing mainframe, client server, and web applications
* Previous experience writing and executing test plans.
* Ability to write complex SQL queries
