Production Manager – Storefront and Metal Fabrication A Plus
Manufacturing company specializing in sheet metal, glass and glazing, storefront fabrication, building storefront doors, handrail, acm, powder coating, sign and fixture fabrication, etc. No relocation package offered. Must be able to begin employment within two weeks of interview. Will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules and manage all shop employees. The ideal candidate will have general metal fabrication knowledge / experience (welding, sheet metal forming, paint finishing, cnc), inventory, quality, bill of material, work ticket, mrp experience, Excel. Must have very strong leadership and management exp. Must be used to working at a very fast pace.
Duties Include:
*Create daily, weekly and monthly schedules for all areas of manufacturing plant. Manage all employees. Ensure materials are completed as required. Compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
* Improve production flow and productivity of materials and meet production schedules.
* New product development
* Customer service
* Vendor contact.
* Drive quality control
* Inventory management
