Islamic Relief is working in Pakistan since 1992 with the most vulnerable communities of Pakistan in Humanitarian, Education, Health & hygiene, and Sustainable Livelihood sectors. Major operational areas Of IR in Pakistan are AJK, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, Punjab and Sindh.
Islamic Relief invites potential candidates to apply for:
Procurement Assistant
• Responsible for procurement of goods/commodities from market for IMED clients
Procurement of goods
• Develop links with traders, whole sellers and shop keepers.
• Maintained updated data base of suppliers and prices of goods
Provide support to field team for the purchase of goods
Related record handling in disciplinary manner.
Produce summarized reports of procurement as and when required.
Knowledge of markets
• Knowledge of different goods and commodities
• Knowledge of prices of goods.
Local languages.

1. Develop data base of suppliers, traders and shopkeepers
2. Maintain data base of suppliers, traders and shopkeepers
3. Maintain and update price list of items frequently purchased
4. smooth purchasing goods from reliable suppliers having proper receipts and records
5. To take on any roles assigned by the Supervisor
6. To create and maintain good relationship with traders, suppliers, shop keepers, clients and field team
7. Prepare the required / periodic reports of procurement.
8. settlement of all advances
9. signing of agreements with the clients after loading over the goods/commodities

I have also performed the duties of office superintendent, account supervisor, stores, and admin. Sound knowledge of computer. Have BA degree from University of Punjab in Political Science. It will be great honour for me to do work with IR.
