Role Purpose: Provide direct clinical care, which encompasses physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of patients within the Division.
Key Accountabilities/ Key Activities
1. Operational Framework
• Acts under supervision of a Senior Physiotherapist to assess, analyse and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention.
• Acts under direct supervision of a Senior Physiotherapist to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximise rehabilitation potential.
• Advance treatment progression of patients jointly with the Senior Physiotherapist.
• Manage a caseload of athletes under the direct supervision of a Senior Physiotherapist; independently manage a caseload of non-athletes effectively and efficiently.
• Although minimal, provide input in to development of assessment and treatment protocols.
• Independent charting using SOAP format.
• Assist Senior Physiotherapist with nursing and staff continuing education.
• Provide in-service briefing following attendance at a course or conference.
2. Monitoring
• Participate in the departmental Personal Development and Performance Review system to promote personal and service developments.
• Participate in clinical audit to support the Physiotherapy Service Clinical Governance Strategy
• Participate in physiotherapy and team in-service training to promote personal development.
3. Coordination
• Liaise with Senior Physiotherapist to make a mutual decision regarding discharge planning of patients.
• Liaise with Senior Physiotherapists to gain support and direction in management of their caseload.
• Work as part of a team to ensure effective Communication and delivery of care.
• Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximise patient care and promote multidisciplinary team working.
4. Reporting and Documentation
• Maintain patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Necessary knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job:
• 0-5 years clinical experience
• 0 years experience in a sport medicine facility
Education and Certification requirements:
• Physiotherapy Diploma / Degree
• State Registration with a Physiotherapy Association
• Continued Professional development

Salary for Physio therapist is 15,000QR basic net per month
