Supervises and coordinates functions and activities of units or a major department, requiring experience, knowledge of
advanced nursing practice and theory. 24/7 accountability to area of responsibility. Must have managerial experience
and well versed and cardiac experience.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or working toward earning degree with completion within 30 months of assuming position.
2 to 3 years previous supervisory experience in an acute care setting required. Computer skills with knowledge of
Microsoft Office software programs. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, orally and in
writing. Presents oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.
Licensed RN by State of Florida. BLS certification, ACLS and PALS certification within orientation period. Additional
certifications specific to area of responsibility.
