You’ll lead by example and demand an environment of respect for others with the clear understanding that you are ultimately responsible for the work product and results of an entire Division. Your positive and lasting impact on the company will be felt because you are a proactive problem-solver who eliminates waste, questions the status quo and endeavors to always improve while steering their Division and its people to perform at optimum levels.
We’re a 35-year old microelectronics manufacturing company that provides complete production capability, from the initial substrate, to rigorous environmental testing, to the final “box” level assembly. We rely on a Lean approach that continues to reduce waste, allows the company to grow and expand services and capabilities, as well as meet the highest industry standards. Founded in 1975, we have two manufacturing locations in Southern California. This position is based in Chatsworth, CA and includes Management responsibilities and full Departmental oversight. We’ve experienced consistent sales growth of more than 20% annually for the last decade and we foresee similar growth continuing into the future.
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related area of focus
* 6-8 years of Operational experience with at least 2 years of Management experience in an operations environment that was manufacturing hi-tech equipment
* 2+ years direct team management experience
* Direct and recent experience in a Manufacturing Environment (preferably Microelectronics or Hybrid Technologies).
* Thirst for learning and a willingness to adapt and grow rapidly with this position.
* Experience in the Defense Contracting Arena with certifications that include AS-9000 or AS-9100 or an electronics manufacturing environment
* Proven history of increased responsibility and promotions early on in past roles
