Job Description
Working for leading consultancy within the South Wales area, my client is looking to appoint a Network Specialist who will have strong experience within CA Network Management products, specifically Spectrum and eHealth.
Duties will include:
Responsibility for the administration of the servers used for management of the Wales Public Sector Broadband Aggregation (PSBA) network.
This is an MPLS-based network employing a variety of technologies from Wavestream circuits and Cisco GSR routers through to unbundled exchanges, SDSL and ADSL.
The network management software is based on CA Spectrum and eHealth modules running on a resilient server infrastructure, with other servers running Syslog and Secure Access applications.
You will develop, implement and support the various management platforms, and will provide training to the business user base within the Wales region.
General Requirements
Expertise in CA software implementation, including CA eHealth, Spectrum, Desktop & Server Management, Patch Management.
Experience of various scripting languages such as Perl, KornShell, Bash.
Hands-on experience in system administration on Windows NT/2000/2003 and Linux.
Must be capable of achieving security clearance to “SC” level.
