Requirements/Details:
Strong development base with hands-on senior development capabilities but largely (50+% of daily responsibilities) focused on design and architecture vs. development (for the past 3+ years)
Strong technical experience with:
SOA
Design Patterns
Middle Tier Architectures (all tiers but a strong emphasis here) / less on the UI than previously discussed
Enterprise / ‘large shop’ experience who can bring Architecture Best Practices and Standards
Experience with multiple tools / frameworks
Strong, proven experience building architectures from the ground up – not just working from a pre-existing foundation
10 – 15 yrs minimum of total IT experience
Experience with all tiers of a standard architecture
A minimum of 3 – 4 years of focused Architecture experience (again, 50+% of time dedicated to design and architecture and not development for this period of time)
Willingness to adapt to and learn new technologies (e.g. – Flex, etc)
Domain / Healthcare expertise is a plus but not required
Prefer a contract to hire but not required
