I’ve a Level-II and Level-III – IT Project Manager positions with my direct client in Richmond VA. Only Phone interviews required.
DESCRIPTION:

Duration: – 1.5 – 2 Years
*** IT Project manager required with very strong core PM skills, PMP or equivalent experience with PM methodology, requires excellent communications and leadership skills***
REQUIREMENTS: project management of software development projects in an application development environment; strong project management, organizational, and communications skills; and ability to interact effectively with both business and technical staff and to work in an environment with multiple and changing demands. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of project management methodology focused on project implementation. Experience working with multiple user groups in one project necessary. Experience managing a project team that includes vendor or contractor resources is a plus

Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple technical disciplines. Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint. * Viewed as having significant expertise in given field.
* Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
* Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role.
* Develops technical solutions to complex problems , which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
* Work is performed without appreciable direction.
