Mgr Sourcing Analytics – Boston area (NO RELO)
Location: Boston area, MA
Salary: $92,000 + 10%
Purpose/Role Statement:
Lead the Analytics Group in support of Global Sourcing by providing both periodic reports and ad hoc analysis, inclusive of executive presentations, data gathering, analysis, metrics, project lead and support, materials standard setting, and market research and intelligence. Drive continuous improvement on all processes, along with a strong focus on efficiency, quality of data, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Ad Hoc analysis as identified by the VP of Global Sourcing, Indirect Procurement Director, or Indirect Sourcing Director:
• Manage and deliver on all periodic analytical reports in support of Global Sourcing
• Identify ongoing opportunities and approaches for streamlining analytical processes
• Oversee reporting and support for the global Purchasing Card and Small Business programs
• Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. Ensure all employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Management, or other technical discipline
• MBA Preferred
• Sourcing/Purchasing experience a plus
• Experience managing and developing people
• Strong PC-based skills: Access, Excel, Power Point, Visio
• Experience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP or equivalent)
• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
