JOB DESC:
Develop and deliver high quality product demonstrations to existing customers and partners within the UAE market.
Marketing for the principal’s brand to local consultants, contractors and clients.
Generating new enquiries from potential customers through exhibitions and conferences.
Generate feedback on existing submitted quotations, technical acceptance of offers, timeline to order, and market intelligence on competitors’ activities.
Analyzing customers’ responses with regards to product acceptance, prices and competition.
Negotiating prices and payment terms with potential customers.
Analyze, source, quote, and implement new business opportunities in the pipe, valves and fittings market.
Work closely with the Business Development Department to obtain new business.
Review and forward enquiries, follow-up on quotations and closed sales for the principal.
Set sales budget, marketing plan and achieve a sales target.
To oversee and report the market performance and market information and be able to develop supplier database.
To prepare and submit weekly / monthly report and other assigned report.
SKILLS SET:
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience as Sales Engineer selling pipes, ductile iron and non metal fittings, valves and flanges.
Experience in price negotiations and sales techniques.
Good communication skills in English both in oral & writing.
Arabic language would be an advantage.
Knowledge of local commercial transactions related to sales & project execution.
Holder of a valid UAE driving license.
Experience with Government Authorities like ADDC, TRANSCO, ADSSC, ADWEA, AADC or DEWA will be an added advantage.
