Our client is one of world’s leading designers and manufacturers of electro chlorination plant and equipment serving oil & gas, power, desalination, general industrial and municipal industries. It has manufacturing facilities in the UK and the Netherlands, a regional office in Dubai and a network of agents and partners throughout the World. The Company is at the cutting edge of electrochlorination plant design and manufacture. Its products are used across a wide range of industries for the treatment of large quantities of water to prevent bio fouling.
Responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to support a Project Manager in the design, planning, implementation and project management of electrochlorination systems for shipboard, oil, gas and water industries in both safe and hazardous area locations.
Take responsibility for aspects of production build and quality control of project(s)
Supervise supporting mechanical engineers.
Liaise with customers and suppliers when required.
Interpret drawings, specifications and resolve field issues.
Produce specifications to enable procurement of mechanical and instrumentation equipment.
Create and approve project-specific documentation.
Use project management software for automatic project reporting using various packages such as MS Office, MS Project and MS Visual Basic.
Conduct product and process QA auditing in line with ISO9000:2001 Standard.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years experience in water/power/oil & gas projects
Ability to take an initial sales concept design through to detail design/client submittal
Proficiency in all aspects relating to project engineering, especially budget control, project planning, value analysis, system design, technical specifications, documentation and co-ordination of all project disciplines.
Minimum BTEC National Diploma in Engineering
Preferred AIMech Eng.
Computer Literate with working knowledge and understanding of various Microsoft windows packages, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD
Preferably experience in water treatment sector and or petro/chem./oil and gas industries.
