Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking candidates for a Maternal Child Health (MCH) Advisor position for an upcoming USAID project in India. The project will provide an integrated approach to achieving quality service delivery in family planning, maternal health, neonatal and child health and HIV/AIDS with a focus on Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and the national level of India. This position is contingent upon Cardno receiving the project award.
The MCH Advisor shall provide the overall strategic framework, technical support, guidance and leadership for linking family planning and maternal and child health related activities to achieve comprehensive quality services delivery, design strategies to increase the role and involvement men FP, RH, MCH and HIV/AIDS services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MPH, degree in medicine, nursing or midwifery, or related discipline
5+ years experience in the development and implementation of MCH and/or HIV/AIDS prevention care and treatment programs required
Experience with the private sector in promoting FP and MCH products desired
Strong management, supervision, and program planning skills required
Knowledge of USAID operations, programming, and structure a plus
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Fluency in English required
