Master Planning Supervisor Require in Georgia,USA
The Supervisor, Production Planning will be responsible for setting the production operating level and ensuring the accurate/timely acquisition of raw materials and packaging in support of that plan for Georgia location. The position develops and maintains the production/supply plan that merges demand requirements with capacity constraints in support of outstanding customer service, optimum plant operating levels and net working capital goals. The Supervisor, Production Planning also ensures the proper dispersion of finished product throughout the distribution network as part of satisfying customer demand. Serving as the primary person responsible for analysis of sales forecast requirements and capacity constraints, the Supervisor, Production Planning supports the Sales and Operations Planning process. The Supervisor, Production Planning is also responsible for the direct supervision of the Materials Planners at the site
Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum of five years in an operations field
• APICS certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Lotus Notes
• MRP experience. Familiarity with SAP ERP software preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and use advanced inventory planning tools
CPIM, CSCP, CPM Preferred.
