Our client is a leading energy group in Saudi Arabia with exciting growth plans for 2010. The group has a strong reputation for engineering excellence within Oil & Gas, Energy, Power, Petrochemicals, IT and Telecoms locally in KSA, also through the Middle East and globally.
We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Business Analyst to be based in their Al Khobar location in Saudi Arabia.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
This position reports to the Director of Trading Operation and is responsible for Handling Market Research activities and Marketing information needs. The key challenges consist of marketing Intelligence activities & competitors’ behavior monitoring
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting the Departmental Head in Marketing Research activities and Marketing information needs, such as:
. Research Market trends
. Conduct focus group sessions
. Research needs of the Market
. Research customer profiles
. Research prosperity to purchase
. Collecting and analyzing market information on competitor products, sales, advertising etc
. Business trend analysis
. Business forecast analysis
. Provide advice to Director & other members of the Executive team on request
. Reporting on a frequent basis about all of the above including findings & recommendations
. Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
. Marketing Management (Products, Branding, Communication, Pricing, Distribution etc)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
. B.A in Engineering or Business Administration
. Between 5-7 years professional experience in business, planning, analysis within a similar industry
. Familiarity with Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical projects in a large organization
. Solid Experience in marketing Intelligence activities/ market research & competitors behavior monitoring
KEY SKILLS:
. Analytical thinking Skills Organization & planning skills
. Good knowledge of spoken / written Arabic / English languages
. good PC orientation and presentation skills
