Marketing Assistant
Reporting to the Marketing Manager. This position Is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet company objectives-,.
The candidate needs to be familiar with drilling equipment and has prior exposure to the Oil 8 Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with tenders that company decides to participate in, and all related activities.
- Prepare strategy analysis reports upon success or failure of tender award.
- Maintain database of all rigs operating in QATAR and in the region, be aware of client’s drilling programs, and analyze data on rig day rates to determine DGI’s bidding rates.
- Liaise with various internal departments to prepare reports, build and update publicity and website content, Report on local social issues of interest of GDI and its employees.
- Research new market opportunities, map out potential customers and competitors.
Qualification and expereicne
- Graduate Degree. An MBA combined with a basic degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
- At least five years experience in a similar position , ;preferable in a drilling or upstream division of an oil and gas company.
