POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Information and Consumer Insights team has the mandate to integrate sources of customer data and

provide value-added insights to a wide cross-section of the organization. The candidate will be offered chances to

interact with a broad range of teams, including Consumer and Business Marketing, Product Management, IT and

Industrial Design. As a part of the Customer Information and Consumer Insights team, the successful candidate will

be responsible for leading marketing research design, project management and roll-out through the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
• Working with stakeholders to understand research needs as they relate to business objectives;
• Creating research briefs for appropriate and relevant tracking and ad hoc research projects;
• Select suppliers to conduct research and manage projects for their duration from planning and design through

project management and reporting;
• Managing tracking and ad hoc research studies to support initiatives to increase Blackberry consumer loyalty;
• Developing high quality reports and presentations to communicate research findings to a variety of stakeholders

and facilitate the use of research findings to make business decisions and create action plans;
• Responding to stakeholder requests in a timely manner and delivering effective results
• Managing market research suppliers;
• Keeping clear documentation of projects from conception through to completion, maintaining database of research

for stakeholders on centralized website

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-7 years of qualitative and quantitative marketing research experience in large, international companies,

preferably on the agency and client-side;
• Specific experience in managing large scale, international tracking studies to understand consumer experience,

satisfaction and loyalty;
• Experience in managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects with minimal guidance and support;
• Knowledge of satisfaction and loyalty measures;
• Knowledge of quantitative research methods and statistics;
• Experience in technology industries is highly desirable;
• International experience is a pre-requisite for this position;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• A positive attitude and .ability to work well in teams.
