Requirements
• Should have High school certificate
• Diploma in LHV
• 2 years or more of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidate having working experience as LHV with National/International NGO especially in emergency situations.
• Ability to conduct normal vaginal delivery under supervision and preferably independently as well.
Duties
• To provide appropriate patient education on health related issues on regular basis.
• To conduct group health education sessions daily through utilizing appropriate teaching methodologies and teaching materials.
• Provide OPD care to patients as per prescription of medical Officer.
• Provide OPD care of minor ailments to female patients independently as well as under supervision.
• To know the classification, indications, dosage, side effects and contra-indications of all drugs being utilized by patients specially females and children.
• To provide monthly activity report.
• To provide antenatal and post natal care to patients.
• To identify and report immediately any problems that may interfere in achieving project objectives.
• To have good knowledge of first aid activities.
• To provide counseling services to patients on reproductive health and provide family planning services in community/patients.
• Provision of medical care to patients when and if required as per prescription of Medical Officer
• Good behavior with patients and staff.
• Assist in any other project-related matter assigned by the supervisor. To keep record of all her activities in the appropriate registers and then maintain it as and when required.
• To provide the activity reports on weekly or monthly basis.
