The Master Data Architect leads the technology approaches of legacy master data transformations and integrations in
SAP, MDM, third party and custom application portfolios. This role supports the SAP Implementation Teams by providing
the approaches, standards, policies and MDM strategies for master data management for source, transaction and business
intelligence implementations. This position enforces standards adherence of MDM in a long term, multi-phase rollout
that includes blueprinting, realization, go-live and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
• Provide architectures, tooling choices and standards for master data and hierarchy management
• Develop approaches, methodologies, policies, and standards to govern master data
• Develop data owner and data steward strategies
• Define road maps, project plans and steps to implement master data management architectures
• Enforce standard adherence of master data architectures for the SAP transformations
• Master Data liaison for custom, SAP and third party application master data integration
• Work with business users and SME’s to best determine approaches to satisfy user requirements, gaps and risks
• Analyze current Master Data business processes and participate in designing future business processes
• Develop prototype solutions to verify capabilities for new systems development, enhancement, and maintenance of MDM
• Active participation on initial MDM implementations and future rollouts, releases and upgrades with IT and business
owners.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work and educational experience is required.
7+ years of IT experience in areas relevant to those outlined above and below
3 years of Master Data Management implementation experience (PIM or CDI)
3 years of SAP experience including implementations and data conversions
Experience with Data Quality tooling for data profiling, cleansing and conversions
Experience implementing hub and spoke solutions and processes for Master Data and hierarchy synchronizations
Experience with ETL and data integration tools
Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent and proven technical and system documentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with IT and the business
Strong ability to work within a team environment with all levels of management
Ability to cross train, mentor and coach others.

Ability to create financial and ROI-based analysis models against technology strategies
