International Business Development/Licensing Manager, based UK
Betfred currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced International Business Development/Licensing Manager to create new business opportunities and also licence the company in the many regulated jurisdictions now being created. This role will be focused mainly on new business and is best suited to people who are “sales hungry” and who can exploit the many opportunities worldwide with effective and successful results.

Responsible to: Managing Director
Location: UK, worldwide travel essential

MAIN DUTIES:

In this role the successful candidate will:

- Develop new business relationships and negotiate new income for Betfred.
Present Betfred to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
- Be Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process; lead generation, credentials pitch, asking questions, negotiation, close, and handover to account management team.
- Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail ensuring all opportunities to Betfred are captured and explored.
- Be individually responsible for new business and are expected to self manage, however you are part of a large team which will support you
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation.
- Keep abreast of all licensing issues in all jurisdictions
- Ensure that Betfred remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients

Experience of dealing with government officials and director level discussions is a must. You are hungry for success and with a committed motivation to get things done.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

- Proven success in sales
- Confident negotiator and the ability to close a deal
- Strong client management skills
- Capable of hands on problem solving with the ability to generate ideas and solutions
- A positive and determined approach to research and analysing new business opportunities
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritise tasks
- You have strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email and phone.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude to dealing with people
- Capable of working independently
- A sound understanding of the UK/European online sector

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

- Confidence to present a tailored presentation to potential client team by effectively using a range of presentation skills
- Ability to deliver a tailored process to achieve targets
- Ability to identify new business opportunities
- Ability to work at all levels
- Ability to close a deal
