INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER/ARCHITECT
Infrastructure Manager
• Responsible for working with Architecture, Development and Performance Management teams, required third parties to come up with the Infrastructure requirements with respect to
– Continuous integration & build
– Lombardi Teamworks (BPM)
– Documentum
– EMC Product Suite
– IBM Websphere Application Server
– Legacy Application Development / Modifications
– Data Management
• Build the Infrastructure plan based on environment requirements (HACMP, Regulatory/Corporate requirements such as HIPAA, SOX compliance)
• Coordinate with IT procurement teams for H/W, S/W, Upgrades
• Responsible for coordination with IS PM / Team, Security Group, Administrators to get the onshore environments build / installed & configured as per the Infrastructure plan
• Responsible for managing the Offshore IS Team to get the offshore Development environment built / installed & configured as per the Infrastructure plan
• Responsible for defining the ‘process to be followed’ in case of any planned / un-planned outages, and ensuring adherence to the defined process, DRBCP including backup and recovery procedures.
• Responsible for defining the SLAs for MTTF (Mean Time to Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery), planned outage (Planned outage time per month..)
• Act as single-point-of-contact (SPOC) for any Infrastructure related queries / issues / outages
• Responsible for coordinating efforts to keep environments up and running, and, a full and SLA-compliant recovery in case of an outage (planned / adhoc / un-planned)
• Responsible for bridging Application to Infrastructure by defining the technical platform needed to support:
• Responsible for designing Infrastructure Architecture to support NFR including high-availability requirements, and other customer acceptance levels (SLAs)
• Responsible to ensure that the approved infrastructure design is implemented while building / configuring the various environments
• Responsible for working with Performance Testing – Lead, Performance Engineers to ensure NFRs are understood and Testing team has the Test Case coverage to test for required NFRs
• Responsible for producing architecture deliverables to ensure delivered solution aligns with business objectives
