Qualification Masters in Human Resource.
Experience At least 2x years of experience in relevant field.
Skills Well organized and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to assess priorities and competently manage a variety of activities with a high level of accuracy. Excellent technical writing skills
Strong interpersonal skills and Ability to frequent travel in field.
Computer Skills Strong Functional grip on MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
Personal Abilities Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands, have Excellent Reporting Skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Major responsibilities and target accomplishments expected of the position including the typical problems
encountered in carrying out the responsibilities.)
1. Provide support to project team and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.
Main Activities
• Administering payroll and maintaining records relating to staff of all emergency related Project staff.
• Maintain up-to date and accurate hard copy personnel files of all project staff as per check list.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive files.
• Prepare and ensure that accurate job descriptions of project staff are in place.
• Working closely with linked departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line supervisor to understand and implement policies and procedures.
2. Monitor staff performance activities.
Main Activities
• Listening to grievances of staff in field and assist the line supervisor for in time implementing disciplinary procedures.
• Coordinate with respective project team in achieving targets on time and provide solution for their problems raised.
3. Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized
and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
Main Activities
• Provide assistance to line supervisor and respective project leaders in recruiting staff – this includes assisting in developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking CVs, short listing, interviewing, selecting candidates and conduct reference checks on possible candidates
• Responsible for ensuring that all new employees staff receive brief orientation at the time of joining moreover ensuring that new employees are provided all the required support/facilitation from all concerned departments joining.
• Responsible for coordinating the project team for replacement of staff incase receive resignation and ensure proper documentation of changes occurred.
4. Provide information and assistance to staff and HR department at FO Islamabad on human resource
and work related issues.
Main Activities
• Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and employee benefits where required.
• Represent the HR department in meeting with concerned project staff and other events etc to develop an effective coordination relationship amongst all in coordination with line supervisor.
• The post holder assesses the risk of HR issues in the projects and judges when to escalate to concerned program team.
• Ensure timely communication on employment changes i.e. resignations, terminations, leave applications, and other personal related information.
