HR Consultant – Dubai Change International is currently recruiting an HR Consultant for one of its Dubai based professional services clients. The role: Advisory: Support the delivery of HR services to the business teams by providing a high touch advisory service to the areas of responsibility outlined above. The role will do this by: • integrating as a member of the departmental team; • providing HR Advisory support to the leadership of those teams; • facilitating roll outs of HR services to these teams and; • feedback HR service needs to HR central functions. Central Function: Responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of the central HR functions outlined above, including where necessary integration of MERO practices with the firm’s global practices. This includes regular improvements to maintain a level of contemporary management practice in how HR services are delivered. Working closely with the HR Ops Manager to manage the performance management and employee relations obligations of the business and to ensure compliance with any jurisdictional requirements from a HR service perspective. Key project initially undertaken is: • Management of annual HR processes (CDR, Promotion, Remuneration, etc.). Departmental advisory services • provide high level consultation to enhance performance; • develop acute awareness and understanding of the departments business and KPI’s; • manage resource allocation and budgeting process to manage headcount in a viable manner and in accordance with firm guidelines; • manage talent identification and development program within team; • manage promotion and pipeline management within the team; • manage performance in an ongoing manner and provide feedback or input to leadership whenever necessary; • manage general HR advisory service to leadership; • work with central HR functions to coordinate and run annual HR processes (CDR, Remuneration Review etc.) for the department; • work with Head of HR and Partners to develop leadership capability in the team. Project and other related activities • Work closely with the HR Ops Manager to contribute in an ongoing capacity to the leadership and completion of projects firm-wide to establish and develop cross functional efficiencies; • Work on leading and completing various HR projects as per the Project Management System. Your profile: • Bachelors degree from a reputed institution • Strong written and spoken English • Exposure to a professional work environment within an advisory capacity • Evidence of providing Administrative solutions and involvement in process reviews • Minimum four years’ HR experience • Competent in using MS Office • Experience maintaining database and online HR systems • Solid experience with managing relationships with senior members of the board • Managing employee relations Please contact me on suzanne.bassett@changeinternational.net
