Global Advisory organization is expanding its health care Risk / regulatory practice and is seeking a: Partner/Principal level candidate to be a key member of the Energy & Resources/Enterprise Risk Services practice and will be aligned with the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) segment of the practice and will focus on the following:
• Risk Management Strategy
• Risk Management Infrastructure
• Quantitative Analysis
• Credit Risk Management
• Accounting for energy trading & risk management activities (i.e. derivative accounting – FAS 133)
The successful candidate should be able to bring a breadth of experience across several key areas of the wholesale energy supply chain – sourcing from strategy and market entry, regulation and compliance, governance and risk management, operating model and architecture design, and custom or package based systems implementation and integration:
i.e. expertise with selection, applications, and integration of trading, Crude, and Gas packages such as Ventyx, Allegra, Openlink, Rightangle, as well as in the co-sourcing of IT controls, IT applications and systems integration.
Additional Qualifications:
• Demonstrated technical competency, ability to lead and manage significant client engagements requiring deep energy sector focus and relevant ETRM advisory expertise.
• Ability to develop/build practice and market eminence in the ETRM services space.
• Track record for directly selling and delivering consulting/advisory projects that result in annual fees in excess of $4-5 million.
• Generally respected for his/her intellectual capital development and contributions.
• Impressive consulting/advisory pedigree with one of the top-tier or brand name professional services firms, with ideally at least 3 years tenure as a Partner (or equivalent title) of the firm.
• Referenceable as a “top producing/high performing” partner in his/her firm’s
corresponding practice area.
• An appropriate BA or BS degree is required, an advanced degree from a highly respected program would be a plus.
