BAS is one of the largest Airport handling companies in the Gulf providing complete ground handling services at Bahrain International Airport through their four operational departments on a 24 hours basis.
Due to the ongoing developments, we have following vacancies:
Head Of Security
• Responsibilities:
Directs and oversees the activities of the Bahrain Airport Services Security Section.
Conducts and coordinates internal investigations.
Ensures the sale guarding of all company buildings and facilities.
Produces operational procedures for the security section and company. Conducts security audits and inspections on all services and facilities to ensure a high standards of security is maintained.
Liaises with the training department on training issues. Carries out other security tasks and functions as required.
The Head of Security reports to The Manager Safety & Security, Bahrain Airport Services.
This position is open to Male and Female applicants.
• Requirements:
1. Degree in Business administration or equivalent.
2. 10 years experience in a similar position.
3. Very good knowledge of Computer systems and computer literate.
4. Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
5. Valid driving license.
Head Of Fraud Prevention
• Responsibilities:
Plans and conducts specialized investigations.
Plans, develops and executes investigative work plans, programs and schedules, including setting objectives, goals and standards.
Develops procedures for safe handling of accountable documents, cash movements and valuable cargo.
Ensures investigations arc conducted in accordance with rules and procedures and applicable local and international laws.
Prepares investigation reports for review ensuring complete reporting of the facts, findings and essential information.
Participates in the meetings and committees set up in the company to deal with fraud investigations and associated matters. Position reporting to Manager Safety & Security BAS.
Requirements;
1. Degree in Business administration or equivalent.
2. 10 years experience in a similar position.
3. Very good knowledge of computer systems & computer literate.
4. Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
5. Valid driving license.
Purchasing Officer
FOR BAHRAINI ONLY
• Responsibilities;
Carries out local and foreign purchasing activities, checks purchase request for materials and services for proper completion, invites bids and quotations, prepares purchase evaluations /quotations analysis and submits recommendations for selection of appropriate bidder.
Prepares and dispatches Purchase Orders and ensures orders arc progressed until materials are received.
Maintains current list of approved suppliers.
• Requirements:
1. Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by B.Sc. Business Administration or equivalent in Purchasing and Supply field.
2. 2-3 years experience in purchasing activities.
3. Good knowledge of written and spoken English with high standard of integrity.
4. Valid light driving license.

My vast experience in Military has a very diverse aspect that ranges from security to surveillance, anti-drug/smuggling operations to anti-terror operations, logistics to administration, threat assessment to counter threat measures and finally from relief to rescue.
Working in Pakistan military has not only deeply ingrained a sound sense of professionalism and leadership but being a part of it has also prepared to lead by actively participating in countering both internal and external threats. Having participated in the ongoing ‘War on Terror’ campaign and several anti-terror operations with international security forces has enabled me to learn modern and latest techniques and tools to counter terrorism threat.
During this period I as a team leader, was not only personally involved in training but was also part of security planning as well as its execution and intelligence gathering. In my long career I was also responsible and trained for the security of important installations and VVIPs.
