CeQur is a new venture that has spun out of Danfoss Bionics and leverages their core competency in fluidics. Danfoss has retained 40% ownership of the company, and the remainder is in the hands of a small group of Angel and VC investors. The company is dedicated to the design, manufacture and commercialization of a very small and disposable wearable insulin infuser that is geared specifically to the needs of diabetes type II patients and offers a range of advantages to patients, physicians and other caregivers relative to conventional insulin delivery platforms.
He/she will have the main and overall responsibility to manage the execution of the European launch of the product in the German market and establish and grow the CeQur business in Germany. More specifically, this will include:
* Assist in successful execution of the EU Clinical Effort, primarily conducted in Germany
• Part of the team that will work together with clinical investigators, CROs and the Director of Clinical Market Development to set up and execute clinical trial programs.
• Development and implementation of a regulatory, reimbursement and market access strategy for the German market.
• Interaction with the German regulatory authorities to gain the necessary approvals.
• Establishment of sound KOL support across Germany and across key EU centres to develop our inital sales of CeQur Product
• Development and management of a key opinion leader network the CeQur can call upon for clinical development programs and scientific advice.
• Development of a strong relationship network with the payers in order to assure reimbursement.
• Organization and execution of supporting communication/marketing measures in order to make the relevant stakeholder groups aware of the new product.
• Representation of the company at relevant exhibitions and congresses.
• Close interaction and communication with other member of CeQur’s senior management.
- 10+ years of Diabetes / Endocrinology Sales and Marketing, working with KOL’s, assisting with Clinical Trials and Brand Management
- BS/MS
- Currently located in Germany
- Languages – English and German
