Reporting To: Sales & Business Development
Reporting to You: Inside Sales Account and Sales Development
Representatives
Purpose:
► Responsible for driving the achievement of Geosion
quarterly and annual online sales targets, while developing the
long-term business foundation.
► Developing a world class inside sales account management
and market development team to support the growth
objectives of the company.
► Position provides managerial support to sales coordinators
and executes the efficient and effective dissemination of
communication between the customer, outside sales force
and operations.
► Provides lead conversion analysis, sales budget analysis and
sales program analysis with support from accounting and
marketing.
► Providing customer sales information, break-down of special
charges and forecasting information.
Key Responsibility Areas:
► Achieve online sales revenue goals on a quarterly basis and
grow the long-term online sales business.
► Manage and develop Sales Development Managers, who
have the responsibility to qualify incoming leads and
participate in outbound marketing campaigns for lead
generation and for dissemination to web, inside, field and
channel sales teams.
► Manage and participate in development of sales support
systems (CRM / helpdesks, etc.) as well as coordinate any training of sales
representatives, on an “as needed” basis.
► Develop, prepare and coordinate sales forecasts and
business intelligence.
► Interacts with cross-functional groups (e.g. Marketing,
Finance, Operation, Engineering) to solve business and
customer issues.
► Create sales scripts used by sales staff.
► Monitor growth of individual sales representatives and provide
guidance to maximize individual production.
► Create cohesion among staff members to ensure a productive
work environment.
► Implement productivity management metrics to effectively
track individual and department sales efforts.
► Maintain accurate and timely sales reports.
► Schedule inside sales staffing and manpower requirements to
ensure maximum productivity.
► Assist in selling messaging products when necessary.
► Help devise overall sales goals and pricing strategies.
Core Competencies:
► Must possess world-class sales management skills and
should have strong administrative and excellent human
resource skills.
► Knowledge in telecommunications/mobility a plus.
General Competencies:
► Ability to expeditiously resolve problems and excellent oral
and written communications skills.
► Dependable and a team player.
► Individual must have working knowledge of the Internet and
understand technical challenges.
Experience and Education:
Requires a degree or equivalent, and 1+ years management
experience.
