GENERAL MANAGER Jobs – Bahrain Rugby Football Club
Bahrain Rugby Football Club (BRFC) the premier expatriate sporting club in Bahrain with facilities which include 2 grass pitches, an Astroturf pitch, netball courts, cricket nets, restaurant, a gymnasium and a 30 m swimming pool wishes to recruit a General Manager who whilst reporting to the Clubs Executive Committee will manage and develop all activities of the Club.
Applications are invited from interested parties who can demonstrate a successful track record of managing similar clubs or can show the combined experience of hotel management and sports development.
The successful candidate should be able to show:
• A diploma in Club or Hotel Management
• 10 years experience in a similar role including overall budget and profit and loss responsibility.
• Extensive experience of organizing social and sporting functions
• Detailed food and beverage management experience
• Experience in managing a multi-national and multi-disciplined team of staff
• Experience in the general maintenance and improvement of facilities.
• A proven track record in raising sponsorship and expanding sources of revenue.
• A focus on customer service preferably within a members club environment.
• A thorough awareness and experience of Health & Safety regulations and Human Resource management best practices.
