Finance Manager (Qidong, China)
Our client is a globally integrated energy infrastructure group operating in 14 locations around the world including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, China, India, U.A.E, Nigeria and U.S.A. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to be part of their team to be based in Qidong, China.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and standard operating procedures.
- Manage all aspects of finance department including costing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, taxation, statutory audit and other general accounting requirements.
- Timely and accurate periodical reporting to division and corporate head office.
- Regular review and proactive management of FOREX exposure according to group standard operating procedure.
- Regular review of projects costing and P&L to ensure budgeted margin for each project is achieved and variances noted are reported and discussed in meetings.
- Work with Division Head of Finance, head office and external tax consultants in tax planning to ensure all projects/transactions are structured in the most tax efficient manner.
- Coordinate and lead in annual budget.
- Maintain effective internal control system.
- Engage and provide business support to Operations in project biddings, contracts review and process flow improvements.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by Division Head of Finance or management from time to time.
To be successful in this position, you shall possess a Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 6 years working experience. You will have strong knowledge of the local statutory and regulatory requirements. You must have prior working experience in China and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with management and other business units.
