Descriptions of the activities
1. Recruitment Process
• Manage internet position advertisement (send HR Request and job announcement, to ISL HR Department);
• Short-list the according to the skills required by the position;
• Forward the received short listed applications to the person in charge of the recruitment;
• Schedule interviews according to availabilities of interviewee and interviewers;
• Maintain and update the CV database (in order to respond to any urgent or unexpected need);
• After acceptation of the position by the final candidate, prepare new contract;
2. Staff Follow up
• Update employees about HI policies, salary package, etc.;
• Update the staff database on a daily basis;
• Update each employee file, still in contract with HI and leavers (CV, diploma, contract, amendment, working certificate, resignation, disciplinary measures, appraisal, references, internal rules signed, and any other relevant documents…);
• Follow up contract expirations dates (in order to anticipate each renewal of contract or to inform the employee about the non renewal of his contract ahead of expiration date);
• Follow up and record staff leaves and attendance according to HI procedures;
3. Advance on Salary and Salary payment management
• Update salary excel format on a daily basis;
• On the 15th of each month, update the advances on salary given to the staff on the salary excel format;
• Update leave balances of staff on daily basis;
• Before the end of the month, in collaboration with the Field Finance Officer, prepare and print out Salary slips;
• At the end of each month, field visit to HI field sites to manage salary payment of all Sindh Base staff members.
4. HR tools
• Develop in cooperation with Sindh Administrator new HR tools according to the base needs;
• Ensure the implementation and the respect of each HR tool set up for Sindh base;
5. Administration Department collaboration
• Promote a good team spirit;
• Report any incident to the Sindh Administrator;
• Fulfil any other tasks assigned by the Sindh Administrator;
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE
Education
• Degree in HR and administration management and/or past experience of at least 1 year
Languages
• Sindhi
• English
Experience
• Previous experience in HR management
• Experience in INGO of at least 1 years
• Technical expertise in recruitment
Skills
• Strong capacity to analyse problems and propose solutions
• Strong ability to respect procedures and disseminate good message
• Excellent communication skills
• Honest and transparent
• Good reporting and synthetic skills
• Rigorous and meticulous
This is a local Recruitment.
