Female General Physician – Sharjah Aviation Services – Sharjah
Sharjah Aviation Services (SAS) is currently looking to recruit a General Physician to join its Medical Center.
Responsibilities include:
-Liaise with Head of Medical Services (HOMS) to organize, plan and control work performance to ensure progress toward mission and goals.
-Integrate with rules and regulation of the SAS Medical Services strategic plan, goals and objectives and utilize it in decision making processes as guiding documents.
-Act as the liaison official with HOMS and other sections.
-Promote an organizational culture that is positive, motivated on target and place high priority on error prevention rather than error correction.
-Perform CA renewal and initial medical examination for cabin attendant.
-Perform pre-employment and re-contract medical examination.
-Provides preventive and curative medical services.
-Preventive measures such as ante-natal care, post-natal, and vaccination.
-Employee education on occupational hazard and method of prevention.
-Treating acute and chronic medical problems of staff and eligible patients
-Attending continuous medical education lectures provided by the clinic and Ministry of Health.
-Participates in researches and programs carried out by SAS Medical Services.
-Answering staff/patient inquiries by phone.
-Referring patients to appropriate specialist if required.
-Issuing payment slips and insurance form to the newly referred and follow-up patients.
-Attending emergency cases when asked by the nursing staff.
-Answering messages left by the patients and giving proper advice.
-Taking calls after duty hours.
-Attending to doctors meeting.
-Attending emergency cases referred to various hospitals if required.
-Liaise with medical specialist regarding patient management.
-Check, advise and sign reports provided by the patients, etc.
Requirements include:
1.Primary Medical Qualifications: eg. MB, ChB. Post Graduate Qualifications as appropriate: eg MRCGP, MFOM, DavMed, Diploma in Family and Community Medicine
2.At least Three years full time experience in family practice or Occupational Medicine/Aviation Medicine after obtaining post-graduate qualifications.
3. Candidate must be understanding and have a diplomatic approach with patients.
4. Candidate should be able to examine, diagnose and treat patients independently.
